REVIEW: FOALS’ MASSIVE SHOW FOR WAR CHILD AT SHEPHERD’S BUSH

I gotta rip up the road

On Monday night, Oxford-born rock band Foals took to Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London for a one-night-only show for War Child as a part of O2’s Brits Week.

Yannis Phillipakis + co. took to the stage for their first gig of the decade, bringing along Jagwar Ma’s Jack Freeman, replacing Everything Everything’s Jeremy Pritchard who joined their touring band at the start of last year. Though, he’ll be joining them again soon when Foals embark on their UK tour, supported by Everything Everything.

Review: Glass Animals at Manchester’s Gorilla

‘Wavey Davey’s On Fire’

Last night, after a lengthy absence, tropical indie band Glass Animals made a grand return to the stage at Manchester’s Gorilla.

After drummer Joe Seaward almost lost his life in a cycling accident, the band went on hiatus until his recovery had progressed to a place at which they could perform again, and after one small show in Oxford in 2019, the band are back on their first tour is almost three years.
